A successful Kibosh Light setup requires the following three items:

  1. Subscription Status: active
  2. Kibosh DNS Server IP
    • These go on your WiFi gateway router
    • The Server IP are listed in your Portal > DNS
  3. A Kibosh Browser-Agent installed on at least 1 PC

How to get Started:

  1. Watch the video below at least 1x!
  2. Log into your Kibosh Portal
  3. Click the DNS tab
  4. Write down the Server IP
  5. Put these Server IP on your WiFi router
    • Watch the Setup Video below for example on how to do this
    • Go to Support-Center for detailed step by step
  6. From your Kibosh Portal > DNS > Agents tab…
    • Install a Kibosh Browser-Agent on a PC (not mobile) browser: Chrome, FireFox, Edge, Brave
    • Enter your DNS-ID and Password (listed in DNS > Agents tab) to activate Kibosh Internet Security
  7. Now your Internet is Kibosh-safe.

Support options (in order of priority):

  1. Open a Help Desk ticket from within your Kibosh Portal
  2. Open a Live Support Chat at Kibosh.com
  3. Schedule a Live Tech Support Call

Kibosh Light FAQ

Scenario: you have installed a Kibosh browser-agent, and validated your DNS ID.

But the browser-agent shows KiboshDNS-OFF & your internet is still unprotected. 

Solution: the KiboshDNS-OFF error = you have not put Kibosh DNS Server IP on your WiFi router yet, or if you did you missed something.

Go back through How to get Started, and work on step #5 'Put these server IP on your WiFi router'

They are listed in your Kibosh Portal > DNS tab.
