How to convert a GL-iNet MT6000 to a Kibosh MT6000.

Step 1: Submit your GL-iNet MT6000 Serial Number (S/N) for entry into the Kibosh Databases – click here

Step 2: Once you have confirmation from Kibosh your S/N has been imported (via email) – proceed to flash your MT6000 with Kibosh 3.0 MT6000 firmware – download firmware here

  1. Power on GL-iNet MT6000
  2. Connect to GL-iNet MT6000’s WiFi
  3. Browse to 192.168.8.1
  4. Create password and login
    • Go to Firmware Upgrade
    • Upload Kibosh’s firmware and apply
    • Wait 5 minutes
  5. You should now see ‘Kibosh‘ WiFi – connect using password: abcd0001
  6. Browse to 192.168.10.1 to confirm a successful conversion

Step 3: Go to Kibosh.com and create an account (if you haven’t already).

Step 4: From your Kibosh Portal (created in Step 3) go to Account > Activation > Kibosh Pro (Router + VPN Ready)
