Kibosh Router Management Utility (KRMU) v3.0

MT6000 Admin Portal

How to read your Admin Portal HUD

#1) – this is your Kibosh Router ID, also listed under your MT6000 and in your Client Portal.

#2)  – this is the IP address given to your Kibosh MT6000 from your ISP modem/router.

  • NOTE: if there is NO IP address listed here – this means the modem/router the Kibosh is connected to is NOT giving out an IP address. No WAN IP means no Internet, so this must be resolved first – go to Support-Center > Kibosh Router and go through Phase 1: 1-8.

#3) – this will tell you if your Kibosh is connected to the Internet correctly.

#4) – your Internet Security and Parental Controls subscription.

  • NOTE – the MT6000 router will still work if this is non-valid.

#5) – for more advanced networking features log in using the same password you use to log in at Kibosh.com/login.

After you login you can:

  1. Set a Static WAN IP
  2. Change LAN IP
  3. Change DHCP range
  4. Force an out-of-band Sync with your Kibosh Portal
    • For troubleshooting
  5. Reset to Factory Defaults (same as from your Kibosh Portal)
    • Do this to resolve issues – it will not hurt anything
  6. Enable / disable WAN Crash Monitor
    • For troubleshooting – just leave it on unless Kibosh Support tells you to turn it off

Use the same password you use to log into your Kibosh Portal.

NOTE: your Kibosh MT6000 must have been connected to the Internet for a few minutes, at least once, before you can login with your Kibosh.com password.

If you have NOT yet attached your Kibosh MT6000 to the Internet - log in using the offline password Welcome1234

If Welcome1234 does not work - then you need to use your Kibosh Portal password.

Reset to Factory is a good way to troubleshoot issues.

You can do this one of two ways:

  1. Click 'Reset to Factory' at http://192.168.10.1
  2. If you have updated firmware, just hold the Reset Button down on the MT6000 for 30 seconds

What will Reset to Factory do?

  1. It will re-load your MT6000 and Portal software.
  2. It will reset your MT6000 Advanced Settings (like WiFi SSID),  but not your Kibosh Portal Profiles and Settings.
    • Post 'Reset to Factory' the WiFi will be renamed to Kibosh
    • Password to join: abcd0001
