If you are unable to join the krn600 from a particular device you need to remove / forget the cached krn600 entry, and then reconnect.

All devices save (i.e. cache) a WiFi network’s password so you don’t have to enter it each time you connect. However if the password changes, or the cached entry becomes corrupted you will need to delete and then re-connect to the WiFi network.

How to remove a cached WiFi entry from

Windows 8

  • Go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center
    • Manage Wireless Networks
    • Right-click the krn600 entry, and select remove network
  • Now try to join the krn600 wireless network – you will be asked to enter a password to join (the default is abcd0001)

Windows 10

  • From the Desktop, left-click on the WiFi icon in the systems tray
  • Right-click on the krn600 and choose Forget this network
  • Now re-join the krn600 wireless network – you will be asked to enter a password to join (the default is abcd0001)

iPhone / iPad

  • Go to Settings > Wi-Fi
  • Tap the ‘i’ in a circle next to krn600
  • Choose Forget this Network
  • Now re-join the krn600 wireless network – you will be asked to enter a password to join (the default is abcd0001)

macOS

  • Go to Settings > Network
  • Select Wi-Fi
    • Advanced
    • Select krn600
    • Click the ‘-‘ button to remove
    • Ok to save changes
  • Now re-join the krn600 wireless network – you will be asked to enter a password to join (the default is abcd0001)

If removing the krn600 and re-joining does not work, then you’ll need to log into the Kibosh device and change the password directly:

  1. Make sure you’re connected to the Kibosh appliance by going to www.info.com and searching for abcd1234 – if you get the Kibosh Success message then proceed, if not then make sure you’re connected to the Kibosh network, and start over.
    1. Go to http://192.168.10.1 and login using the password ‘password’
    2. Go to Connection > Basic
      1. Under Wireless change / set the password
      2. Save Changes

NOTE: If you change the krn600 WiFi password to something different than it was before (default is abcd0001) then all devices will need to reconnect to krn600 again by entering the new password. Some devices will need to have the krn600 WiFi network removed in this scenario (see instructions above).
