Q: According to www.speedtest.net, Kibosh is making my internet slower

A.) The MT6000 one of the best WiFi gaming routers in the world, one of the very few with a 2.5GB WAN port for high-speed ISP. You can feel the quality when you hold it. So we safely can remove hardware from the equation.

B.) Please do the following:

1 – Power – cycle your ISP’s modem & the Kibosh MT6000.

2 – Wait 15 minutes – 30 minutes…using the internet like you normally would.

3 – Log into your Kibosh Portal > Home…what is your Internet Speed?

4 – Run your www.speedtest.net – from multiple devices…

NOTE: there are many variables that can impact the results of this “FREE” magical service. Do not rely only on this #.

Ping (learn more) or ICMP, is a much more accurate and reliable Internet speed test – and ICMP is what your Kibosh Portal uses.

C.) If you’re still not happy with results, call your ISP Support # and A) tell them you’ve installed a new WiFi router and B) ask them to reset the Modem.

Wait 15 – 30 minutes…using the Internet like normal. Then repeat steps 3 & 4 above.

D.) If the slowness persist, please send an email to support@kibosh.com with your Kibosh Portal > Home > Internet speed.
