Step 1: Starlink Router Prep
If you have a Starlink Router model UTR-232 skip to Step 2.
Otherwise, you will need the Starlink ethernet adapter.
Step 2: put the Starlink into Bridge-Mode
Step-by-step:
- Connect to Starlink’s WiFi
- Log into your Starlink app
- Go to Main Router
- Go to Settings
- Choose Router (not Starlink)
- Go to Bypass Mode
- Slide to Bypass
Step 3: install the Kibosh MT6000:
- Take the Ethernet Patch cable that came with your Kibosh Router
- A) one end plugs into your Starlink Router’s…
- ethernet adapter (as shown here)
- OR if you have a UTR-232 it plugs into the far left port
- B) the other end plugs into the MT6000 WAN port
- A) one end plugs into your Starlink Router’s…
- Power-cycle reboot (pull power chord) on BOTH the Starlink router and the Kibosh router.
- Wait for about 5 minutes while both routers reboot and link up:
- ** AT THIS POINT: Kibosh MT6000 is now your main WiFi router
- A) look for the new ‘Kibosh‘ WiFi network, and join using password: abcd0001
- B) then log into your Kibosh Portal
- you’ll need to create an account if you haven’t already
- C) On your Portal > Home the Internet Status should be Protected
- Go to Portal Orientation to get started using your Kibosh
