How to Assign and install Mobile Link VPN
A VPN Slot can be assigned to any Apple/Android mobile device.
Once linked, all Internet Security & Parental Controls in your Kibosh Portal will be enforced on said mobile device – over any WiFi and Cellular data.
Step by step:
- Turn off MAC Randomization (how to) on the Kibosh WiFi
- From your Kibosh Portal…
- Go to Manage Mobile
- Ensure you have an empty VPN Slot
- Assign the mobile device to the VPN Slot
- Now – let’s move onto the target Mobile Device…
- From the target Mobile Device > log into portal.kibosh.com
- Go to Manage Mobile
- Tap an open VPN Slot
- Tap the down arrow
- Choose the O/S
- Download VPN
- Tap Yes & Allow to everything
- Disregard any error messages
- Tap Yes & Allow to everything
README: sometimes the Mobile Link install process from the Portal will hang up and leave you sitting at a Kibosh landing page — just switch back to your Portal, and tap the re-install button — then the install / linking process will complete.
