How to clear your browsers cache–
Google Chrome (Desktop):
- Click the three dots in the top-right corner → More tools → Clear browsing data.
- Select All time for the time range.
- Check Cached images and files (uncheck others if you want to keep cookies/saved logins).
- Click Clear data.
- Close and reopen Chrome to ensure changes take effect.
Microsoft Edge:
- Click the three dots → Settings → Privacy, search, and services.
- Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear.
- Select All time, check Cached images and files, then click Clear now.
Mozilla Firefox:
- Click the menu button (three lines) → Settings → Privacy & Security.
- Under Cookies and Site Data, click Clear Data.
- Check Cached Web Content, uncheck Cookies and Site Data if you want to stay logged in, then click Clear.
Safari (Mac):
- Go to Safari → Preferences → Advanced → Check Show Develop menu in menu bar.
- From the Develop menu, select Empty Caches.
- Alternatively, go to Safari → Clear History and choose a time range.
Safari (iPhone/iPad):
- Open Settings → Safari → Clear History and Website Data → Confirm.
Android (Chrome):
- Open Chrome → Tap three dots → History → Clear browsing data.
- Select All time, check Cached images and files, then tap Clear data.
⚠️ Note: Clearing cache does not delete bookmarks or passwords. However, clearing cookies may log you out of websites. Use Ctrl+Shift+Delete (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+Delete (Mac) to open the clear data window quickly.
