Preface: Kibosh has been in production for over a decade. With this in mind, we proceed with the assumption any issues are on your end, until proven otherwise.
Issue: You have assigned Filter blocks to a Profile or Device, but it’s not blocking.
Usually this happens when you are not applying the Filters to the correct devices.
Troubleshooting:
- Make sure you are applying the Filters to the correct device(s)
- Go to Portal > Devices > Advanced View
- Match the Device IP
- Or…
- Match the MAC ID
- Match the Device IP
- Go to Portal > Devices > Advanced View
- Go to https://test.kibosh.com on the device
- Failed Status = not using Kibosh
- Disable MAC Randomization (instructions)
