How to setup your Verizon Modem/ Gateway

And turn off the Verizon WiFi (thus making your Kibosh the only WiFi).

  • How to configure IP Passthrough / Bridge Mode — this will make your Kibosh the Primary Gateway (and turn off it’s WiFi)
• ASK-NCM1100 & NCQ1338
  • How to setup IP Passthrough (and turn off old WiFi):
    • Connect to the Verizon Modem/Router’s WiFi (the WiFi we want to turn off)
    • Login to the Verizon Gateway Admin Portal at 192.168.0.1 OR 192.168.1.1
      • Password is underneath the Verizon Modem/Gateway
    • Go to Advanced Network Settings > Network Connections > Network (Home/Office).
    • Click on the Settings Button, and navigate to the settings page.
    • Scroll down to IP Passthrough, check the box, and save changes.
    • Wait 5 Minutes:
      • A. the old WiFi network should be gone
      • B. log into your Kibosh Portal and Internet should be Protected
        • Your Kibosh MT6000 is now the Primary Internet Gateway and WiFi Router
