How to Assign and install Mobile Link VPN

A VPN Slot can be assigned to any Apple/Android mobile device.

Once linked, all Internet Security & Parental Controls in your Kibosh Portal will be enforced on said mobile device – over any WiFi and Cellular data.

Step by step:

  1. Turn off MAC Randomization (how to) on the Kibosh WiFi
  2. From your Kibosh Portal…
  3. Go to Manage Mobile
  4. Ensure you have an empty VPN Slot
  5. Assign the mobile device to the VPN Slot
  6. Now – let’s move onto the target Mobile Device…
  7. From the target Mobile Device > log into portal.kibosh.com
  8. Go to Manage Mobile
  9. Tap an open VPN Slot
  10. Tap the down arrow
  11. Choose the O/S
  12. Download VPN
  13. Tap Yes & Allow to everything
  14. Disregard any error messages
  15. Tap Yes & Allow to everything

README: sometimes the Mobile Link install process from the Portal will hang up and leave you sitting at a Kibosh landing page — just switch back to your Portal, and tap the re-install button — then the install / linking process will complete.
