Preface: Kibosh has been in production for over a decade. With this in mind, we proceed with the assumption any issues are on your end, until proven otherwise.

Issue: You have assigned Filter blocks to a Profile or Device, but it’s not blocking.

Usually this happens when you are not applying the Filters to the correct devices.

Troubleshooting:

  1. Make sure you are applying the Filters to the correct device(s)
    • Go to Portal > Devices > Advanced View
      • Match the Device IP
        • Or…
      • Match the MAC ID
  2. Go to https://test.kibosh.com on the device
    • Failed Status = not using Kibosh
  3. Disable MAC Randomization (instructions)
