WiFi Mac address randomization is a “privacy feature” recently implemented by our friends at Google, Apple, Microsoft aimed at making our devices more anonymous and therefor harder to track & hack (but not from them?).
What it really does is cause our mobile devices to repeatedly show up in Portal > Devices every few weeks, looking like a new device but using the same old name.
Solution: turn off MAC Randomization – it’s easy and you only have to do it 1 x.
NOTE: You do not HAVE to do this as it will not affect Internet Security in any way.
- You only have to turn it off once on each device.
- You only need to do this on the Kibosh’s WiFi (not all of them).
